If you want more serial ports on your machine, so you can do external modems
serial mice, and more, I suggest
I used to run an external Motoral Bitsurfr PRO EZ ISDN TA on a 16650 and
I could crank through a full 16.5 Kbytes/sec. It rocked. The byterunner
serial cards are jumpered, and they even have 4 port and higher cards.
Long live the serial port.
