At first I figured that you were using Samba and it was simply
misconfigured. It seems pretty obvious that the problem is with
"on-net". I hope it's just a configuration probably that that some minor
changes will fix it -- I have no experience at all with on-net.

The permissions of the above files suggest that ANYONE, including but
not excluding user nobody, has read & write access to the files. So... I
am guessing that you cannot delete the files using "on-net", but should
be able to after telnetting into the server. Again, I'm hoping for your
sake that this is just a configuration problem and some minor changes
will fix things.
