I thought it was good stuff. Even though I knew everything from the meeting,
I'm still a pretty green newbie. Many times I find myself lost at some of
our regular meetings. I still contest that we need some sort of "newbie
forum" for those of us that are just starting out. I would be willing to
host something but I don't feel I have enough background with Linux yet.
I think the best part, from the perspective of the new user, was the limited
amount of information covered. It was vital to understand Linux but not too
much. This left lots of time for Q & A. A lot of times the installfests are
the best place for those of us just starting because of the Q & A nature of
the event.

Subject: [lug-nuts] Corel Cancelled :(
I just got word from the Corel Rep today and he backed out.
Apparently he is going to Ottowa for training on Linux and felt
that he might have been in over his head. So, we will have
to come up with an alternative agenda for February.
I got a pretty good feeling from the reaction I saw at last night's
meeting. Anyone have comments on it?
