The configure script takes care of setting all that up for you(I hope that
you are compiling from source). Just run ./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/www and everything apache will install in
/usr/local/www. The apachectl will go in /usr/local/www/bin and you can
run it from there. Then just write a simple init script that will start it
at boot time.
