MySQL is already installed on saclug.org. It's just that I don't
think anyone has taken the initiative to get a shell account from
Jim.
I was thinking of using MHonArc to convert the emails to html pages
and then using an indexing engine such as Excite's EWS. There of course
is also glimpse. It's GNU and it's hackable. You can look at the perl
code for EWS, but there a couple compiled files. In fact they require
libc5 libraries.
