I have a small network set up with 1 Linux box, a Win98 box, a Win98
Notebook, and a VMware Win98 virtual machine running on the Linux box. I can
access and use the file and printer shares on the Linux box from all 3
Win98s correctly. I cannot set up shares in any of the Win98s. When I create
a share and I click to add users for that share, I receive an error message
saying "You cannot view the list of users at this time. Please try again
later".
I'm probably missing something simple here but after two weeks of trying to
resolve this, I have given up. Any ideas?
I'm not sure what info you need but I'm including my smb.conf below to
start.
